March 29, 2018 National Vietnam War Veterans Day
Our Vietnam Veterans answered our country’s call to duty with selfless “Service, Valor, and Sacrifice.” On March 29, 1973, our troops left Vietnam, but, in one of the war’s most profound tragedies, many came home to face treatment unbefitting their loyalty and a welcome unworthy of their honorable service.
The National Vietnam War Veterans Day Act was signed on March 29, 2017. This bill recognizes March 29 as National Vietnam War Veterans Day and is to be celebrated every year in recognition honoring those that served in the Vietnam War.
