Maunalani Nursing & Rehabilitation Center celebrated its 76th Anniversary on Friday, January 30, 2026.
The program included honoring those who celebrated a milestone anniversary (i.e. 5 years, 10 years), and those who reached the remarkable goal of having perfect attendance throughout the year (2025).
Community Life Manager, Samuel Chang, received a special recognition award for going above and beyond for rendering immediate aid to a pedestrian who lost consciousness on Maunalani Circle. Samuel moved the individual out of the road and out of harm’s way, called for emergency help, and stayed with the individual until medical personnel came to help.
Thank you to Samuel again for his heroic actions.
