Dear Maunalani Staff,
When we wrote our Silver application last year, we showcased the efforts you made to one another and our residents. As a result, Maunalani was recognized and earned the Silver Quality Award from the American Healthcare Association. Those same efforts were exemplified during our recent DOH survey for which we also received excellent results – all because of you. Let’s keep up the momentum and challenge ourselves yet again. Let’s show we are one of the best places to work and begin our path to Gold!
In the next couple of weeks, we will be participating in the Hawaii Business Magazine’s Best Places to Work 2022 survey. You will be asked for feedback on everything you experience here at Maunalani. This survey intends to get a better understanding of our morale, satisfaction, and engagement. Your honesty and opinions are extremely important, and this survey is your chance to express them.
We will use the survey results for three purposes:
- Recognize how our leaders engage the staff in positive ways.
- Improve our practices and make them more practical and effective.
- Address issues that discourage people, compromise satisfaction, or diminish performance.
This survey will be managed by Hawaii Business Magazine. This company, Workforce Research Group, will host the survey and collect your responses online. The surveys will be sent electronically on November 18, 2022, to either your “Maunalani” email address or the personal email address that you provided to Human Resources. If we do not have an email address for you on file, please let us know so we can get you one. All of your responses will remain strictly anonymous. Maunalani will not be able to trace individual responses. Please be thoughtful, honest, and candid when you complete the survey.
Overall results will be provided to us in February 2023, and we will share the information with the entire organization. Our Senior Leadership Team will meet with groups to discuss plans to improve our culture, performance and address any problem areas. The survey results will be acted upon. Policies and practices that need changing will be changed. We are committed to working toward continually improving Maunalani.
We would like to see as many of you participate as possible, in order to ensure that every employee’s voice is heard. When you receive the survey request in your email (check your spam folders just in case), please give it your prompt attention. The best way to make change happen is to be part of it. We are looking forward to our results.
