Aloha Maunalani Residents and Families,
We want to inform you that we have three residents who have tested positive for the flu. (Influenza A). The residents are recovering comfortably in their rooms.
Influenza is a virus that spreads through tiny droplets when coughing, sneezing, and/or talking. Visiting exposes, you to the risk of contracting the Influenza virus. If you choose to visit, please continue to wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, and practice social distancing. As a reminder, if you are feeling sick, please refrain from visiting the facility and schedule a virtual visit with your loved one through Zoom and/or Facetime. We encourage all visitors to protect themselves from the Flu by receiving their Influenza (Flu) Vaccine.
