To Our Family Members,
Re: COVID-19 Update
We remain committed to keeping our residents safe and are so grateful to continue to have zero cases present in our facility. We want to continue to keep COVID-19 from entering our facility and we are making adjustments continually in order to maintain this goal.
Presently, we find it necessary to take the following actions in order to continue to reduce the risk of exposure of our residents and staff to the virus. Therefore:
- Starting on Sunday April 19, 2020 we will no longer allow any visitation, including glass-door visits. Please, maintain contact with your loved ones through online means such as Facetime, Skype, phone call, etc. If you have not yet done so, our staff will be happy to set up a time for you and your loved one to talk.
- We continue to appreciate your willingness to pick up and drop off laundry and other goodies for your loved ones. Please give us a call before you come. Our staff will be happy to assist you at the Castle entrance from 10AM – 2PM daily. Make sure that any food item is for single use and delivered in a container that can be wiped down with a sanitizing cloth.
We understand the restrictions due to the pandemic have imposed much hardship on all our lives and some decisions that we make will not be popular. Still, we must do our utmost to keep our vulnerable residents safe. Please, continue to communicate with us regarding any concerns you may have. All of our staff are healthy, well and present at work daily. Your loved ones are assisted to enjoy the outdoors with plenty of sunshine, fresh air and spectacular view on a daily basis.
We hope that you continue to stay healthy and well. We appreciate your understanding as we continue to keep our residents and staff safe. The situations in our community will continue to be monitored daily and we will keep you updated as needed.
