To Our Residents, Family Members and Visitors:

We know some of you may be concerned about the spread of COVID-19 being reported in the media and how it may impact us here at Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Here’s what we are doing:

  • New visiting hours will be: 10 AM to 4 PM daily
    • Entrances to the building will be limited to:
      • First Floor
      • Castle Wing
    • The CDC has required that all long-term care providers immediately implement health screening measures upon entry to the facility for visitors and staff.
    • You will be screened by the staff and be provided with precautions that you must observe.
    • You will not be allowed inside the facility if you:
      • Are showing sign or symptoms of a respiratory infection, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath or sore throat
      • Are residing in a community where community-based spread of COVID-19 is occurring (i.e. Seattle, WA)
      • Have had contact with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID -19 or under investigation for COVID-19 in the last 14 days
      • Have traveled internationally within the last 14 days to countries with sustained community transmission. For updated information on affected countries visit: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/index.html
    • One visitor per resident at a time
    • Report to us if you should develop any flu-like symptoms after your visit
    • Maunalani Nursing and Rehabilitation Center reserves the right to decline visitation in order to protect our residents and staff.
  • Maunalani is staying up-to-date with the CDC recommendations. These recommendations may change quickly and must be complied with. Please pay attention to the flyers and notices posted at all our entrances.
